Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was only 18. Ladd was able to build on her victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round in each fight. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen who beat Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her for a 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen dominated McGill in her wrestling, to finish her off with the third round TKO. Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won through a TKO during the second round. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 at which point she was up against Lina Lansberg. Aspen Ladd defeated Lina by a ground and pound victory in 2nd round. In her next fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight came when she fought her second opponent in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. They fought in unbeatable fight that Ladd took victory by a unanimous vote. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in only 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
