Carpenter claims that he was interested in her however she decided to decline. Anne cannot remember John Carpenter having contacted her or even offering her the job. Agents could have rejected the role on her behalf and with no knowledge. Glen Larson chose her initially and then sent her a draft written script. She was to appear on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. The character was weak enough to convince her to take on the part. Glen invented a new character to play for her featuring Sheba as a more powerful character. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25-page script. The show ran for one season. She appeared in Joyride in a film from 1977 featuring Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) and with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared alongside Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
